CLS Seminar Event Upload

Introduction

CLS Seminar Event Upload is a plugin that allows users to create seminar activities and import seminar events records from a .CSV file.

Requirements

The plugin requires a .CSV file with specific columns, including courseidnumber, seminaridnumber, seminarfullname, seminarshortname, eventstartdate, eventenddate, eventstarttime, eventendtime, maxdelegates, roomidnumber, facilitatoridnumber, and setcompletion. The plugin has several requirements, including that the courseidnumber must match an existing course ID number, and the seminaridnumber, seminarfullname, and seminarshortname must meet specific character limits. Additionally, all dates and times must be formatted correctly, and setcompletion should be populated with '1'. The plugin can only create seminar and events where the course ID number matches with courses that exist in the current system. If the Room ID is not matched to an existing room, the events will be linked to the Room with ID Number =1.

Steps for Using CLS Seminar Event Upload

  1. Create a CSV file with the required columns, including courseidnumber, seminaridnumber, seminarfullname, seminarshortname, eventstartdate, eventenddate, eventstarttime, eventendtime, maxdelegates, roomidnumber, facilitatoridnumber, and setcompletion.
