The CLS Course Completion Certificate History is a report source that is available for Totara sites. It allows the downloading of users historical certificates via a report. This will also allow you to download any historical certificates for users other than your self.
You will first need to login as an admin and click on the admin cog/gear that is found in the top right hand corner of the main menu bar. Once you have clicked on the cog/gear you will then need to click ‘Reports’, this will then take you to the ‘Manage user reports’ page.
Once on this page, you can then create a report with that report source. By clicking ‘Create report’ and then using the search bar in the top left hand corner and typing ‘CLS Course Completion Certificate History'. You will then need to click the tile and then click ‘Create and view’ or ‘Create and edit’.
A user with the permission to edit reports can change the columns and filters on a report and also change certain report settings, the specific columns, filters and settings for the report can be found below.
The ‘CLS Course Completion Certificate History’ has the same filters and settings as the Course Completion Including History report that is provided by Totara, the column are also mostly the same. The only difference is the ‘Certificate’ column which is the column that gives the user the ability to download the certificates. When the column is added to the report you will see a button added to the report for ‘save’. When clicked this will download the report for that user as a PDF.
